If you know me well, you know that I enjoy experimenting with different banana bread recipes. This deliciously moist banana bread is sweet and buttery. I also added pecans to this recipe to provide the moist bread with a bit of crunch. Feel free to add raisins, swirls of Nutella, chocolate chips, or butterscotch!

Deliciously Moist & Simple Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 3 large very ripe bananas (peeled and then mashed)
- 10 tablespoons of butter (melted)
- Dash of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar (add more or less to desired sweetness)
- .5 cup of white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- Optional: raisins, Nutella, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter/oil loaf pan.
- Melt butter in the microwave or on the stove.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Add the melted butter to mashed bananas.
- Mix in baking soda and salt.
- Stir in white and brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and pecans.
- Mix in flour. Add cinnamon.
- Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan.
- Bake the bread for 40 minutes or until tester inserted into the bread comes out clean.
- Let cool.
- Remove the banana bread from the pan and enjoy!
