Without a doubt, drug store concealers have come a long way throughout the years, especially for those that adequately cater to darker skin tones. Today, you don’t have to spend a lot of money on concealers to highlight, contour, or hide blemishes. As a young lawyer and frequent sufferer of insomnia, I have tried dozens of drug-store and high-end concealers over the years to fake a good night’s sleep. I’ve gathered my most affordable favorites – they deliver full coverage, blend-ability, creaminess, and dependability so that you can fake like you are the most awake girl in the room. Ha! It also helps that these concealers are all under $10 and can be easily found on Amazon and at your local grocery or drug store.
How to Choose a Concealer
When it comes to make-up, concealer can serve a variety of purposes. If I had to bring one makeup product to a stranded island, it would definitely be concealer! Concealer gets it done. Period.
When buying any concealer, first ask yourself how you plan to use it:
-To highlight and brighten under your eyes, go with a concealer shade 1-2x lighter than your skin tone or foundation shade.
-To conceal blemishes and imperfections, go for a concealer shade that matches your skin tone.
-To contour, choose a concealer shade 1-2x darker than your skin tone.
It’s useful to have concealers in different shades on hand to cater to different areas of the face.

I particularly love this concealer for summer because it is waterproof and transfer-resistant.
